Scott, who comes across the TV as a bit of a doofus, has been a very good governor, especially considering the mess Crist left behind. Crist (aka "Gay Charlie") is quite telegenic in a homo newscaster sort of way. To top it off there's a Third Party Spoiler taking 5-7% from Scott. Crist's strategy: if he doesn't win outright, the spoiler gets it close enough for the Democrats to steal.
