Confirmed: Wendy Davis Literally Has THE Worst Twitter Campaign Of All Time

Well, if you thought the Wendy Davis gubernatorial campaign, which has devolved into a clown show, couldn’t get any worse; you should brace yourselves. She had this tweet featuring a bunch of eager young Davis supporters, but there’s only one problem. It was actually a group of volunteers for the College Republican Federation of Virginia who posed for a photo after knocking on doors for Ed Gillespie, the GOP senate hopeful in the Old Dominion.

The only surprise about Davis is that her complete disaster of a campaign is still hovering around 40% support in the polls. I guess the “I have a right to free stuff from the government” crowd has a 40% core of support even in Texas.

Any dem or republican will usually receive at least 40% in all but the bluest states.

Her hometown newspaper endorsed her opponent in the Texas race over the weekend. The Supreme Court’s decision to allow for a voter identification requirement has Democrats here even more worried about turnout. And in Texas political circles, the question is not whether Davis will lose, but by how much.

Put Wendy Davis on “Are You Dumber Than A Fifth Grader” she is likely to say in response to a simple question, “What? But I Thought Europe Was A Country”

Texas has been cursed with Leftist economic refugees from CA that are infesting Houston, Austin and Dallas, while Mexican illegals have taken over San Antonio. They are sucking their livelihood out of our industries and voting for the same lousy Leftist government policies they came from.

"...Davis...her...disaster of a campaign is...around 40% support...the “I have a right to free stuff from the government” crowd has a 40% core of support even in Texas."

Hmmm, the same 40% that still support Obozo, perhaps?
Wonder who those peeps' might be?

You cannot expect a person with absolutely no moral compass to be able to discern what behaviors are considered acceptable and what behaviors are considered vile and offensive to reasonable, moral people.

She should abort her campaign manager.

She did back in June 2014 and that didn’t help.

Her hometown newspaper endorsed her opponent in the Texas race over the weekend.

Texas Democrats managed to nominate a duo whom the Texas press has a hard time giving their enthusiastic support. Davis sued the Fort Worth Star Telegram over an editorial (she lost).

Less well known is that Lt. Governor nominee Leticia Van de Putte, also a State Senator, told the editorial board of the San Antonio Express-News a few years ago that a Republican State Senator had admonished her "If you are going to act like a Mexican you are going to get treated like a Mexican." Delighted to get a quote revealing Republicans to be evil racists, the Express-News trumpeted it.

This came as a surprise to Van de Putte, who was pressed to reveal who the Republican State Senator was. She claimed that Senatorial protocol forbade her to name names, so every Republican State Senator signed a letter to her saying "I did not say it. I did not hear it. I release you from any obligation of confidentiality if you think I said it." Van de Putte still refused to name names, but claimed that State Senator Judith Zaffirini heard the remark. Zaffirini denied it, but diplomatically added "That I can recall" to soften the fact that she was calling Van de Putte a liar.

Suing the media over editorials is not a route to their good graces. Neither is lying to an editorial board in a face to face meeting. The Express-News would have been very happy to publicize Van de Putte's allegations as a news story had they been made publicly, but by disclosing them to the editorial board behind closed doors, she got them to tie their credibility to the truth of her statement.

Don't get me wrong, the Texas press is on Davis and Van de Putte's side. But they are not at all enthusiastic.

Davis is nothing but trash. She is the poster girl for the idea that education is no substitute for a moral compass. Is it any surprise that trash acts trashy?

Last poll I saw (after the deplorable “wheel chair” ad, and just before she accused Mr. Abbott of opposing inter-racial marriage), she was at 32% and sinking fast. I think she struggles to reach 35% in the general election; GOP voters have been energized and a lot of Dims are going to sit this one out.

The best part of this train wreck is that Ms. Davis is spending millions in Hollywood campaign cash to make an absolute fool of herself. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving candidate—or group of supporters.
