The sergeant at arms who took down the gunman, Vickers, was head of security for the parliament. In essence, he is the “top cop.”
In 28 years of service, he had never drawn his gun. And when he did, he made it count.
I’d like to exchange our top cop, Holder for Mr. Vickers.
I hope Canada comes up with some exemplary way to honor Mr.Vickers !
