Thanks for the ping, Kathy - I had not heard of Sgt. Sears' death before. I post him as Died Of Wounds because, as far as I'm concerned, any PTSD vet who suicides, from Lew Puller to Jeremy Sears and all others who have likewise died, is a Brother who has fallen from wounds sustained in battle. Without disparagement, I would say to those who have not served in combat that while you know the evil that is War, you have no concept of the horror that our Troops face every moment. Some never come back - others cope with extreme pain, both physical and mental, yet others go on to lives of apparent tranquility. All, however, are changed - none can ever fully come back to what they were before - the protected.
