A gunman shot dead a Canadian soldier at the National War Memorial in Ottawa today before exchanging dozens of shots with guards inside Parliament in a terrifying attack that left the nation's capital on lockdown.

Gunman Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, who reportedly recently converted to Islam, fatally shot Corporal Nathan Cirillo, a 24-year-old father, as he stood guard at the War Memorial on Wednesday morning.

Zehaf-Bibeau then ran inside the Parliament, where he opened fire before he was shot dead by the House of Commons Sergeant-at-Arms.

Zehaf-Bibeau was born in Quebec as Michael Joseph Hall but recently converted to Islam,CBS reported. Sources told the Globe and Mail that he had been designated 'high-risk traveler' and government had seized his passport

His attack comes just two days after another Canadian soldier was killed in Quebec by a man with jihadist sympathies.

I had no doubt. I suspect he was ‘inspired’ by the earlier hit and run incident.

I was wondering about that. I’m a little surprised. Canada has more than its share of nuts and flakes, but most of them are of the pacifist variety. When they’re not, they’re usually the usual suspects. This one seems to break the mold.

Prayers up for the family of the young Canadian soldier murdered while serving his country.

And props to the House of Common’s Sergeant-at-Arms for killing the Muslim jihadist before he could murder more people. The Sergeant-at-Arms position is mainly a managerial/ceremonial position, but Mr. Vickers proved more than up to the task of dealing with this murderer.

Let no one doubt that this was an ISIS inspired act of jihad against Canada and its citizens. Fly that Maple leaf flag PROUDLY Canada, you’ve more than earned that right.

Converting to Islam turns these people into murderers.

The ones who don’t become murderers become apologists for murderers.

Many historians agree that The Stamp Act of 1765 was the beginning of the Revolutionary War that ended at Yorktown in 1781, 16 years later.

Between 1765 and July 4, 1776 The Sons of Liberty were born and became more and more organized and potent. Historians credit them with intimidating all Stamp Act tax collectors leading to complete impotency of The Stamp Act and it’s repeal by Parliament. Then Parliament passed The Declaratory Act which provided the anger fuel the Sons of Liberty needed to stay in business.

Looking at that woman giving that fine young man mouth to mouth fuels my anger.

As a consequence of both countries liberal Marxists governments and press, I think it’s time for Canada and the US to organize 21st Century versions of The Sons of Liberty. Instead of intimidating tax collectors they can commence intimidating Muslims into leaving our countries and carrying one squealing liberal under each arm with them when they do.

After that, the SOL can commence turning up the heat on the CORE problem we have which is liberals, liberalism, and liberal companies that own the mass media in both countries.

At some point, the men in this country that love this country are going to have to “grab some sack” and take action like the SOL did!
