Dallas health officials say Ebola patient Nina Pham's dog has tested negative for the deadly disease.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Bentley has been in quarantine since Pham's diagnoses last week. Dallas Animal Services has been overseeing his care.

Samples taken from him on Monday show he does not have Ebola. New samples will be taken and tested at the end of his 21-day quarantine period.

Pham is being treated at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland. She is currently listed in good condition.

Kind of like post death-by-cop, dog tests negative for being menacing to the officer.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

I can't pray any harder for Ms. Pham, but I like her more.

Nina is a sweet girl, she did everything right, kept her family away, reported immediately that she had a fever, such a sweet girl..I pray everyday for her speedy recovery..she LOVES Bentley so much, he deserves extra tummy rubs and kisses for all he has been through

Wish I had gone to a British betting parlour on Jan. 1 and plunked down a few quid on the proposition of that headline appearing.

The mother claims she is doing well...or some such thing.

Meanwhile, a lot of conflicting stories about what went down as it pertains to her plane trip. Everyone trying to CYA.

A Professor at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine missed an opportunity for a erudite case article for a veterinary publication with this incident. A&M had the ability to isolate and care for the dog and is fairly close.

In my opinion, veterinary microbiologists are more than capable of handling Level 4 disease. Almost all of the dangerous viruses and bacterium originate from animals.

We can’t be too sure about Ebola Doggie Patient Zero.

First the Bentley get Ebola, then the other dogs in the neighborhood get Ebola, then cats get Enola, then the fleas get Ebola and then Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers gets Ebola and then millions of Americans catch Ebola from listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

She should have known all be herself not to hop on a plane. Stop making excuses for her.

In another light, hope she gets well soon.

You did notice the dog is alive and quarantined, yeah? So actually not very much like it at all...this means he gets to KEEP living.
