15 years? I think you’re a newbie then. ;)

I agree with your list of things for the most part. One problem that I’ll run into is the absentee ballots. I have a friend of mine who is getting married out of state the day after the election (I know, who gets married on a Wednesday?) and will be in New Orleans for a few days prior. Should she have to put off her wedding because it’s an election, or give up on voting because she’s marrying the man of her dreams?

Simple things we need to start doing. Starting a Freeper party of some sorts. The first thing we’d have to do is find the ways to get an electable candidate on the ballot for our party. (Thanks to the “press”titutes out there, the name Tea Party is murdered.) Once we have a name on the ballot in a state, that’s often the state law method of getting on election boards. Every person we have would need to be willing to serve on an election committees. Then, we can start influencing the voting rules. Ensuring that the morons who think “Calibration errors” are acceptable don’t run the show anymore.

Then we start getting folks on the ballots for smaller party offices., such as water management board, board of elections, board of education, etc. and maybe, get even some state offices like the Treasurer or even a state house or senate official.

In a few years, we put the screws to the system and go after as many state houses and senates and governorships as we can float candidates for. We do that until we have a core base, and start running US House and eventually US Senate. It might take us 20 years, but we could be a minor majority party.

Then we start floating President candidates. It’s actually a lot easier than people believe to buck the system and rupture the whole thing.

Anyway, I know how to do it and eventually will start to get things going soon enough. We have to have a full agenda, platform and a solid online presence.
