HENSARLING: GOP-CONTROLLED CONGRESS SHOULD MASSIVELY INCREASE GUEST-WORKER PERMITS FOR FOREIGNERS
Breitbart ^ | October 21, 2014 | Tony Lee

Posted on 10/22/2014 8:31:57 AM PDT by C19fan

If Republicans gain control of Congress, Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) wants more guest-worker visas for high-tech and low-skilled workers in addition to a piecemeal immigration reform. Hensarling, the House Financial Services Committee Chair whom the pro-amnesty Wall Street Journal touted as the "leading candidate to eventually succeed John Boehner as Speaker," would "like to see immigration reform that allows more H-1B visas for high-tech workers and also creates a 'vibrant guest-worker program' for low-skill workers who want to come here to work in agriculture." The Journal also noted that Hensarling "believes a good guest-worker program is a form of border security because it allows law enforcement to focus on catching criminals and terrorists: 'Less hay to find the needles.'" He doesn't think a "physical wall" is needed "over the entire length of the border."

You know, if our country had not been aborting our people over the last many years we would not have to import any skilled labor.

Jeb Hensarling (R-TX), just one more member of the bipartisan Treason Lobby.

Another reason why I really don’t care about this election, it doesn’t matter who wins, neither party is looking out for the American people.

Is there any good essay anywhere how the House chooses its speaker? Considering the position is 3rd in line in succession, why aren’t the people involved in this election process?

Another republican who needs to find another line of work.

When will these a-holes learn that it is not their job to change the American character?

The house is a nursery for the senate. This guy needs to be nipped at the bud.

My husband is in the IT field. It’s really tough for a U.S. Citizen to stay employed in this field above the age of 50, with competing guest workers.

NO NO NO more guest workers, please. Not until our employment crisis is over.

And to think Hensarling was once considered one of the GOP’s bright young up-and-comers.

NOBODY should be trusted when it comes to amnesty. No matter how much the voters don’t want amnesty, these clowns somehow can’t resist wading in toward it. It’s like the apple on the Tree of Knowledge... forbidden, but irresistible nonetheless.

Can we find someone in Hensarling’s district who:

Does not believe it’s “good” to use non-Americans as tools to reduce the pay of real AMERICANS!

Understands that a BORDER FENCE, like a CLOSED DOOR, reduces the number of thieves that would rather steal your “stuff” than work to earn their own.

THEN, let’s support that patriot!

Another reason why I really don’t care about this election, it doesn’t matter who wins, neither party is looking out for the American people.

I've been telling FReepers for weeks: The GOP is not going to win the Senate, and they're going end up losing House seats. All because the candidates are playing it safe and co-opting Dem policies so they don't look like meanies.

All those GOP consultants and bigwigs licking their chops are in for a huge disappointment. Because the Rat base is going to turn out, and conservatives are going to stay home because they've been crapped on by the RINOs.

There are plenty of libertarians in the Tea Party, who don’t seem to understand that importing socialists leads to socialism. That said, this comment two weeks before the election is retarded. It is too late to secure a great deal of crony corporatist funding, but just in time to suppress votes for Republicans.

Is he willing for his big business buddies to pay the higher taxes that will so richly deserve for selling us out? These people are conservative only when it effects their pocket book. They support conservative positions only to gain political capitol to spend on their buddies at the Chamber of commerce. The after the big business types in the media change public opinion they are gone with the wind about these same ideas. Screw them all.

Lots of Texas GOP type very soft on illegals. Perry and others pushed in-state tuition for illegals, etc. Most of these guys have business interests that rely on cheap illegal labor. Money takes precedence over border security.

If a guest worker program was tightly controlled for a specific period of time with no path to permanent visa I could work - no oneway tickets.

I witnessed a guest program for California farmers and other states too I suppose, in the 50’s that worked. Workers came without family, worked the fields, went home with jingling pockets. It worked until the unions came into the picture. I doubt it would ever work for highly skilled persons.
