Since this is Olongapo, its equally likely that he caught the eunuch prostitute trying to steal all of his valuables and committed the crime over that.

That said, there were parts of town away from the bar districts where more marriage minded men could find girls interested in actual dating when I was there.

No way he wasn’t briefed about the pitfalls of the red light district before liberty was sounded. He chose the path he took. My sympathy is pretty thin.

Possibly. I have seen quite a few that were better looking than some women, and I had a hard time figuring out if they were male or female, but the voice always gave them away, so it is hard to tell in this case.
