Later on, we learned that the Washington Post and Newsweek had the Lewinsky story for months, but were sitting on it. They refused to report it, presumeably because they are liberal, and didn’t want to hurt a Democrat president.
Monica needs to understand that her own behavior with a prominent man such as the president, is what ruined her life. Yes the media picked up the story and ran with it. And she was part of that fallout. But if she had not gotten involved with Clinton in the first place, her life would not have been impacted the way it was.

Nonsense - she was having an affair with the President of the United States in the White House, was under investigation by Federal prosecutors for committing perjury as a witness in a Federal lawsuit and pressuring another witness to also commit perjury - even encouraging her to deliberately injure herself so would have to be under medical care to avoid testifying if I’m remembering correctly from the content on those tapes.
