Just two weeks from now Americans will be going to the polls to vote in the mid-term elections.

All eyes will be on the US Senate to see if there is a shift from Democratic control into Republican hands. Among the key races that could decide the chamber's fate is Louisiana.

For 18 years Democrat Mary Landrieu has held one of the state's Senate seats, but now she is in a tough battle against Republican Bill Cassidy.

Well said. If you did not know Kay Hagen was a Democrat, watching her TV commercials would make you think she was the conservative anti-Obama candidate in the North Carolina senate race.
