Citizen's arrests date back to medieval times. They are arrests made by a person who is not acting as a sworn law-enforcement official. Generally, citizens are encouraged to be mindful of unlawfulness and to take action when they see it.

My parents owned land not far from the Eglin reservation tho Eglin main was nearly 30 miles away. When I was a kid, I would go to the top of our pasture and watch planes practice bombing and strafing. They would disappear behind the woods then I would hear and feel the bombs go off.

Also often hear the roar of a vulcan.

A Ranger from Camp Rudder was bitten by a coral snake quite a few years ago. They literally sent a jet fighter to New Orleans for anti-venom.

The Ranger recovered nicely.

The one in the pic was around six and a half feet. He stretched about a foot when I tried to hold him up with the rake. A lot of him was still on the ground. He was quite a bit fatter than he looks in the picture.
