Anyone flying to the United States from Ebola-affected countries in West Africa must enter the country through one of five airports screening for the disease, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh C. Johnson said Tuesday as the Obama administration stepped up precautions to stop the spread of the virus.

Last week, the government instituted temperature checks for West Africans arriving at Kennedy International in New York, Newark Liberty International, Washington Dulles International, O’Hare International in Chicago, and Hartsfield-Jackson International in Atlanta. The five airports already account for 94 percent of all arrivals from the affected countries, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea. A fever is one symptom of the disease and an indication that the person could be infectious.

The "Don't you DARE call it a Travel Restriction, You Racist!" Travel Restriction.

ABC already changed their headline from "DHS Enacts Travel Restrictions..." to the above.

Just plum dumb!

As it is, you can’t bring a pet into the country without its sitting in quarantine for weeks...but diseased humans... we’re OK with that?

This is what I suggested several days ago except I said to one airport...

No reason for 5 airports. Just means they might not be able to fly when they want. Too bad!!

Since one can be infected with Ebola but not show symptoms for 21 days, there is no way to find out who is infected at any airport.

About 150 people enter USA every day from those 3 affected countries. Good luck!

I read elsewhere that flights from those African countries have ALWAYS arrived at those five mentioned U.S. HUB airports.
So who is B.S.ing who? There is nothing different!

I wouldn't put Tokyo on that list.

The Japanese are actually serious about protecting their citizens and don't bow at the altar of political correctness.

They aren't afraid to profile either.
