I think it's pretty safe to say a great pct. of black Americans have a different notion of reality than do most white Americans.

If many black Americans believe that despite their being at the top of the crime stats. and at the bottom of the scholastic achievement charts, white racism is holding them back, then then there is no hope for them in this country.

Generally you are correct.

Some however fall through the cracks. Dr Ben Carson is one. Those are the 5% minority

Standardized tests like the SAT are racist. They are based on white cultural standards. Especially the math portion, which uses Arabic numerals.
