REPORT: STEPHEN COLLINS WON'T BE PROSECUTED FOR CHILD MOLESTATION CHARGES
Breitbart Hollywood ^ | October 19, 2014 | Kelli Serio

According to information obtained by TMZ, 7th Heaven star Stephen Collins may not face child molestation charges because too much time has passed since the alleged cases of pedophilia. On Oct. 7, it was reported that Collins' wife Faye Grant released a secret audio tape of her husband confessing to molesting or exposing himself to three underage girls. Grant reportedly confronted Collins about the incidences during a therapy session in 2012 and she got it all on tape. The release of the audio led to an active criminal investigation by the NYPD.

There should be no statute of limitations on child abuse. I personally know of someone that if evidence from the much earlier abuse had been accepted, he wouldn’t have been able to molest all the little children he went on to molest.

Actor admits to molesting children. NYPD states they may not be able to pursue prosecution due to the statute of limitation. You attack the wife. And I need my head examined?

I know several molestation victims who are unable to file charges against their attacker due to the statute of limitation. I’ve witnessed their lifelong struggles due to these crimes. Ppl who come to the defense of those molesters are either guilty of the same crimes or diluted.

The ex-wife held back on the tape of this man confessing to child molestation for two years for some odd reason, now what on earth might that reason be? It wouldn’t appear to be concern over her former husband’s underage victims.

Therefore, her hands don’t seem to be exactly clean, and yet you go to considerable length to invent scenarios wherein she’s a sympathetic character.

You identify with her for some odd, irrational reason, and that has clouded your judgment.

Again, her former husband is in my opinion a creep and deserves to do time but he will not because of the way this was handled, the time elapsed and inadmissible evidence. He is responsible for his behavior but he’s not the only individual who has problems pertaining to this matter.

Frankly, you have no idea whether or not she “held back”. All we know is that there was a tape and it has now come to light. Unless you have some inside information, you’re accusations are complete conjecture.

You state:

“....you go to considerable length...”

Comically idiotic statement coming from an individual who has zero information other than what’s being reported, which includes the NYPD confirming the molestation, but that law enforcement may not be able to prosecute Collins due to the statute of limitation.

“You identify with her...” Moronic platitudes. I never stated or eluded to such a sentiment.

“...her former husband is in my opinion a creep, and deserves to do time...”

You’re now addressing his crimes? Too late. He’s hardly a “creep”, as you put it. He’s a vile criminal who preys on helpless children. I have no doubt he appreciates sympathizers such as yourself.

That's odd, you seemed capable of reading, at least initially.

I addressed his crimes in my very first reply to this thread. You're entirely too prone to making wild, damaging allegations about fellow FReepers for my liking.

I do not sympathize with child molesters and you are totally out of bounds in implying that, about not just me but about every single person with whom you've disagreed on this thread.

Now why don't you just calm down and let this be your last reply to me on this topic? It will certainly be my last reply to you. Somebody has to be the adult here.

Ahem. There’s the rub. I read your comments. Your first post mentions in casual passing that Collins is a “creep” and legal judgement “wasn’t in the cards”. You then spent more time attacking the woman.

This forum is a place in which Freepers express their opinions and engage in debate. Disagreeing as well as expressing disgust over comments involving child molestation and pedophilia is hardly “wild” or “damaging”. Allegations? Turnabout is fair play.

I have to admit that you’re entertaining. You exhaust a lot of energy pointing and all the while uttering such “insightful” accusatory statements as:

“Again, you really need your head examined”

“You identify with her for some odd, irrational reason, and that has clouded your judgment.”

“You’re entirely too prone to making wild, damaging allegations...”

You are clearly suffering from an acute case of Pot-Calling-The-Kettle-Black Syndrome. I highly recommend seeing a specialist.

I wholeheartedly agree. Although I find it amusing to converse with children, I would assume you’re in desperate need of a diaper change as well as a nap. If you should reply to this post I’ll assume you managed to climb out of the crib and acquired your mothers device.

Unfortunately, there comes a time when you have to realize that if you keep banging your head against the wall over and over again, all you'll end up with is a headache.

I hear you, and get what you're saying. Others, not so much.
