At what point should the police be able to defend themselves from rioters that are assaulting them?
Full bottles>>>>!!!! Morons. Put them in charge of Ebola like Bidens boy....
Using nightsticks, bean bag rounds and rubber bullets isn’t a defense. ROTFL
Ok, what should police officers do when rioters are throwing billiard balls and full liquor bottles at them?
Mounted police and police dogs were the prescription for putting down riots for a long time. Shame they didn’t us it here, JJ and friends wouldn’t have said a word, and the festival next year would have been very calm and quiet.
There was a lot more to this than meets the eye. There were definitely outside agitators with hidden agendas, ulterior motives. It gets complicated. See something called “Free Keene”. Weird stuff.
So, the outside agitators shipped in bottles of liquor and billiard balls to throw at the police?
No doubt everything thrown was sourced (or grown) locally. But the driving forces span everything from the Colbert Report, Libertarians, BearCats, legal Pot, anti-police,......... Like I said, Weird stuff. Something called Free State Movement. Ties to Oregon, etc. Some strange faction has moved into Keene, NH.

From what I have read at legitimate news sites, the bulk, if not all the rioters were Keen State students or their friends.
The myth of “outside agitators” is always used to excuse the actions of the local people and blame it on outsiders.
Just a month or so ago, we saw the people of Ferguson, Missouri say exactly the same thing, when the facts show that rioters were local.
The rioters in Keene or no different than the rioters in Ferguson, except one riot was over a police shooting and the other was over pumpkins.
Yep, mounted police and dogs would have been good. If I were a parent who had taken my kids to the festival I would be plenty POd at both the college kids and the cops who couldn’t seem to get a handle on them.
"We got out of Keene just in time to see a major influx of State cops coming into town. The news media has it all wrong. The so called riot was off campus and no where near the Pump fest."
