They didn't volunteer for anything like this! This is beyond merely outrageous.

There was a time, when duty was understood as a two way phenomenon. Those who volunteered to defend America were owed a reciprocal duty from those in American Government. This is an outright betrayal of that reciprocal duty.

That’s what I think as well. The Commander-in-Chief should be protective of the lives and health of his men.
