Good luck with that. Generally, the federal government enjoys sovereign immunity from tort lawsuits.
Texas has stringent laws in place.
If the hospital participates in workman’s compensation that is all she will get..unless she dies.
Then she might get more.
People don’t have to get Ebola to sue Amber Vinson. There is great economic harm to many because of her jaunt to Ohio.
At a minimum, she should have never gotten on that plane to go back to Dallas. She should have gone to the hospital. She said she felt sick.
She should be drummed out of nursing for being stupid and reckless.
Does Amber Vinson own a home? Would possibly cover judgement.

She’s not going to sue anyone. She’s gearing up if someone sues her.
She stands to get sued by the airline right now. They have already suffered damages as a result of her action.
