NATO is America, America is NATO. Most NATO countries do not contribute much to the military capabilities of NATO. The only exceptions to this rule is France, Germany, and the UK (and maybe Poland due to big hearts). If America really wanted to, it could get Turkey booted out of NATO, especially with all the muzzie violence that is ongoing in many NATO countries.

If Turkey was removed from NATO then both NATO and America would have a lot more room and ability to maneuver effectively to fight the scourge of Islam.

Hell, I wouldn't mind if Russia took Turkey out and reestablished the Greek Orthodox church in a newly renamed Byzantium and drove the Turks back into the steppes of the east.

Look at a map. They are the most strategically-placed country that can assist the rest of NATO countries in countering the USSR now Russia threat.

They are still an ally on paper just as much as your wife is your wife on paper, regardless of what she is doing. If Turkey does not supply the bases to resist Russian aggression, then they no longer should be a part of NATO, just as if your wife cheats on you, a divorce is required.

NATO US Turkey - When you go to bed with a monster you become one or you are destroyed. Both options are on the table...but it is probably too late.
