The confidential memo from a former pollster for President Obama contained a blunt warning for Democrats. Written this month with an eye toward Election Day, it predicted “crushing Democratic losses across the country” if the party did not do more to get black voters to the polls.
“African-American surge voters came out in force in 2008 and 2012, but they are not well positioned to do so again in 2014,” Cornell Belcher, the pollster, wrote in the memo, dated Oct. 1. “In fact, over half aren’t even sure when the midterm elections are taking place.”
Mr. Belcher’s assessment points to an urgent imperative for Democrats: To keep Republicans from taking control of the Senate, as many are predicting, they need black voters in at least four key states. Yet the one politician guaranteed to generate enthusiasm among African Americans is the same man many Democratic candidates want to avoid: Mr. Obama.
Now, Democrats are deploying other prominent black elected officials and other surrogates, buttressed by sophisticated voter targeting efforts, to stoke black turnout. At the White House, the president is waging an under-the-radar campaign, recording video advertisements, radio interviews and telephone calls specifically targeting his loyal African-American base.....

Democrats are left with fear mongering and lies to gin up the minority vote...
After a while those fears and lies lose their effectiveness because none of it never comes to pass...
Why vote when you can sit home and eating Bon Bons while talking on your Obamaphone while watching BET on your 55' HD T.V....
Voting in 2008, 2012 didn't chagne a thing...

I feel sorry for the White liberals. A Black man (Obama) got them into this mess...and now they are dependent upon black people to get them out of the mess.

The GOP doesn’t outline principles or define goals. Why would a democrat voter of color based preferences vote for whitey when the colored democrat offers the same thing without the shame of voting for a republican?

I just started reading some FR postings this morning. You make a good point. I still regret that we didn't pick our own cotton. As far as reparations go, I'll say this. My idea of reparations is a one way trip back to Africa paid by the taxpayers. It would be cheaper in the long run.

But, we need to get these folks to the polls, along with the registered illegal aliens (courtesy of Motor Voter,) because the franchise is so valuable to them and the U.S.
Ever listen to big-city black talk radio? It’s terrifying, the rage, the hate, and of course, the misinformation. Total brainwashing. Even most Democrats don’t believe the preposterous things that inner-city blacks believe. Polling consistently shows that the majority of blacks believe the kind of hallucinations spewed by Farrakhan.

I read a few days ago that the DOJ is dropping their charge against Zimmerman.
Likely because Holder is resigning and no incoming Attorney General wants to prosecute a case with no evidence.
I will say there was one black gentleman who would call in and jeer at the ones blaming whites for all their problems. He laughed at all the conspiracy theories as well. So it's not all black people who are lost. But there are distressingly large numbers of black Americans who will believe anything they're told.
Somehow, those 100,000 Haitians allowed in should be used. If they don’t compete for jobs that many are still looking for, they will for welfare bennies and any other minority sop - and elbow out the locals.
Actually, the GOP doesn't say anything. They are the only political party in the world, who's strategy is NOT to talk to voters. This is not new, they've been doing (or rather not doing) this for years and years. The GOP ought to have its license as a "political" party revoked for incompetence and malfeasance. That's what happens when you run a party like a club. Dump the country club.
