Do any of us think that THIS man, as Majority Leader of the Senate, will do ANYTHING to roll back liberalism? Are any of us surprised that he works so hard to undermine conservatism and destroy conservatives.
I see him purposefully watering down, with the help of his buddies the democrats, ANYTHING conservative that comes from the House. Of course, Boehner is of the same type as McConnell.

Aside from the debate over whether McConnell is “good” or “bad”, a completely objective history of his political career would likely be a very interesting read for any political junkie. Unfortunately this book profiled is just written by some liberal angry man as the article describes.
I was too young then (and not even around yet during some of it) to remember his time as county judge (which is not a judge - other states call them county executive). I do remember a story being told about how Senators Dee Huddleston and Wendell Ford declared after McConnell narrowly won re-election as county judge that McConnell’s political career would be going nowhere...
