ISN'T IT OBVIOUS?

This warning label (among about a half dozen warning labels) appears on my son's baby carriage: Do not fold carriage with baby inside!

It may seem funny to state something so obvious, but I suppose to cover themselves against lawsuits from people who couldn't figure out to first remove the baby, they put on the warning label.

The Prophet Micah gives us easy-to-follow instructions for a good life that seems so obvious and elementary we wonder, is that all we have to do to live happily and peacefully?

The answer is YES! All we need do is follow these simple rules:

To do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly
with thy God!

I found and rented my new home in Yakima, what a relief because of my short visit window. So I should be a Washingtonian again by Nov. 1st. Whew, now I can relax for a few weeks until moving day :-)

Too bad that evil and our elected officials do not come with a warning label.

I would guess I can call the Bible a warning as well as an instruction manual.

Are all your gardens ready for winter?

The handyman left about an hour ago....got a new hand rail put up in my Mom's room. I moved the dresser with the little pads you stick under each corner and just "glide". Worked like a charm!

A couple more little things, and best of all the only step not managed with the stair lift is now only half as tall. It will be very weird for the able bodied, but make a huge difference for my Mom. Oh, and the roof is now blown free of 10 million leaves and the gutters are cleaned out. 3 hours and I'm a happy camper to have them all done.

Two Sundays in a row our pastor said a prayer for everyone in our police force, firemen, elected officials state, county, Federal.... That God guide them to always do the right thing and to keep them safe, etc. It was very nice. I think he is not happy with what is going on in the government etc. It was kind of a generic prayer for all of our leaders, but with much feeling!!!!

Good evening, mountainlion...that is soooo true. All politicians should come with "truth" or "liar" labels. A Blessed Lord's Day to you and yours. Do you have snow yet? It got close here, but then warmed back up into the low 40s.

A most impressive day of work! I got absolutely nothing done today except to chauffeur David and Daniel around.

The garden is not put to bed - probably won't get to it until next weekend.

Well, that picture should have been a box that said Crushed Red Pepper on the side, and Do Not Crush on the top. Having to do stuff from my tsblet since my computer died.

No snow lately. The high mountains got a dusting. I got wood in and a propane tank installed. I am almost ready for all winter. Got lots of reading to catch up on.

Life is good and I know who is in control.
