The ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee took the Obama administration to task Friday for its “irresponsible” plan to allow as many as 100,000 Haitians to immigrate to the U.S. without a visa.
Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa said the administration’s Haitian Family Reunification Parole Program — which will allow thousands of Haitians awaiting a U.S. visa to enter the country and legally apply for work permits — is “an irresponsible overreach of the executive branch’s authority.”
“Which countries are next on President Obama’s list?” Mr. Grassley said. “Will there by medical screenings before entry? Will work permits be granted automatically? How will this affect American workers?”(continued)

How is this legally possible? It’s one thing to misdirect the Executive Branch, but this seems like direct contravention of existing law.

How much longer are people willing to allow Obama the benefit of any doubts. This notion that he is doing his best, he’s a minority, his hands are tied by the republicans is utterly reckless.

What's your recommendation? Think the GOP in a Reid Senate can do a thing? Elections have consequences.
The only way the GOP can do anything is to get a majority. Even then there's only so much you can do with a power hungry Chief Executive.

Hold Obama in contempt of the House. File a Federal lawsuit. Ask the SCOTUS for an emergency ruling to halt the plan. Block new funding for USCIS unless he reverses course. Block all nominees at every level. Plenty they can do, but won't.
The left had no problem screaming their heads off when they were in the minority.
And I didn't hear one of them complain they could do nothing until they had a majority.
Thats the GOP's cop out.
