It wouldn't be possible to find 8 random students of any other racial group to act like this... For whites, Hispanics, Asians, Jews etc to act like this, they'd have to be recruited out of a prison or half way house for eternal losers. And even then 8 criminal types from other races would probably NOT want to beat up a defenseless family for no reason.

I'm going to guess that the driver had some sort of relationship with the boy she called (either family or personal), and he got the rest of his street gang buddies to come along.
