Veterinarians practicing in Rabies endemic areas should be vaccinated against rabies as a precaution. I have had to go through the post exposure treatments twice after having been exposed. I have an extremely high titer against rabies.
My brother just retired and sold his clinic about a month ago, He is free and trying to decide what he is going to do for the rest of his life.
