Wow-that was one poorly written piece! It was like reading a story assignment given to a 5th grader: “Why Is America So Mean To Brown People?”...all it was missing was the drawn on little hearts dotting the ‘i’s and some happy faces :)

I was a bit shocked to read the comments section in this SanFran rag; they were not pro-illegals. I’m not sure which way the rag leans, but to find more than a few SanFran people/readers to post comments against this fluffy piece was surprising to me.

Oh-and when she was a little girl, my Polish grandmother lost all of the males in her family as they left the farm one by one to fight-I think against the Cossacks-can’t remember. She said she lived in constant fear as only the women were left behind in her village and they all had to do everything the men used to do while worrying about being shot at -or worse...
But, she got married and she came here legally by herself at 18-19 to meet up with my grandfather who settled here first and then sent for her; that’s the way it is supposed to be done.

As far as the time it takes to become an American-maybe if ICE etc. didn’t have to deal with an infinite amount of illegals/problems, they wouldn’t have to wait 15 years to become a citizen. Sorry that the line to get into America is long; it’s a popular place and it used to be a great place, but it’s people like the family in this bedtime story who are stealing from us by taking (freebies) and not giving back (taxes)-because it’s soooo haaard to wait and do it right-who will eventually turn America into just another broken down country, mediocre at best.
Civilization requires rules, law and order. So if this family can stay here illegally, with no consequences, don’t they realize that the local hoodlums they ran from probably came here illegally as well— and will just continue where they left off? The LEOs may not know they are even here, but even so, under the current Admin, their former ‘occupado’ does not matter—they’re potential voters, the new oppressed American class, to be coddled, cuddled, protected and promoted till death do us part—all they have to remember is the ‘D’-it is the ONLY English they will be required to know.

And to put the cherry on top, they send much of their cash back home-out of America-so not only do they not contribute and pay taxes, they aren’t even good consumers participating in our economy; they don’t even have bank accounts and live in a non-traceable cash-world, while using our EBT cards, Medicaid,Section 8 and so many other special programs it makes your head spin....and to me, when you take something that isn’t yours and have no intention of returning it, that is stealing.

Rant over...

Why don’t we just get it over with and allow every single person on the planet to live within our borders
