-- Oh baloney, no one forced you to read it --

No one forced you to read or reply to my comment, either. So, "baloney to you too." Methinks you didn't understand my quibble with the choice of words in the authors piece.

You know damn well the liberals scream racism if anyone criticizes that arrogant pos. They call you a racist if you didn’t vote for him, even if you never voted for a democrat and never will

Well, yes, I do know that. I said that. I mocked the liberals as being dunderheads for exactly that. My quibble was with the label “asset,” not with the principle that the liberals have no substantive defense of Obama’s actions.

Obama ... lies as often as a professional con man, but is so used to having his bumbling excused that he’s not even good at lying.

I believe that I have noticed this, as well.

Nice little list in the article, btw.

If Marcus Garvey were around today, he would be lionized for his independence if nothing else.

And he is what we knew he would be because we knew there was more involved than his obvious lack of ability. The answer to this question, “What exactly does Obama ever do right?”, is nothing and that is why we know that mere incompetence is not an explanation regardless of what some think. If he were merely incompetent he would get lucky sometime and do something right. Just as the most competent person you have ever known does on occasion make an error, the most INCOMPETENT person does something right sometime or as the old saying goes, “Even a blind hog (or squirrel) finds an acorn sometime.” Obama’s only acorn so far has been the infamous “Association of Career Organizers For Reform Now”, a pigsty of corruption.

If I understand your point correctly you seem to say that a “foil against criticism” is NOT an asset. It seems to me that it would be a tremendous asset just as body armor is an asset to a soldier. Why say that it is not?

You can’t say fag, that makes you a homophobe. That means you are afraid to go home. Wow, I’m such a brilliant thinker I should become a liberal democrat.

A hideous creature she certainly is but an “Obama clone”? I don’t know if I would say that. Some are convinced she would be far worse. Of course once you have tasted a green Persimmon it is hard to imagine worse.

Kas....of course they call you a racist if you criticize him.

But I got to thinking...what can they actually DO to you by calling you a racist?

Nothing. Not a damned thing.

Despite what liberals WANT, you cannot be arrested for being called a racist. As far as I know, having an opinion is NOT illegal. And it doesn’t mean you have to dislike everyone who shares Obola’s race. Dr. Carson, Lt. Col West, Justice Thomas, and a whole host of blacks out there who work hard, love their country, and don’t subscribe to the ‘gibsmedat’ mentality...they are out there.

So, if libs and their ilk want to label any of us as racist because we don’t like Obola, let ‘em. Stand proudly and say “Yep, that’s me!” There isn’t anything they can LEGALLY do you for having an opinion. And if they decide to take matters into their own hands to ‘punish’ you for your opinion...well, that’s where the Second Amendment comes in.

My point was that "asset" isn't the right word, given the author's thesis. And "foil" probably isn't the best word either. Try "excuse." That's not the right word either, but it comes closer to the point of view the author makes in conclusion.

Instead of race, substitute "small weenie." It makes as much sense to use "you are criticizing him because he has a small weenie," as it does to say "you are criticizing him because he is black." In both cases, the object being used to discredit the critic is not an "asset" or a "detriment." It is an irrelevancy.
