Wisconsin has made huge strides in the protection of unborn babies and mothers in our state. In just 2013 alone, our new lifesaving laws gave mothers more information about their unborn children and helped save 465 babies, who now sleep peacefully in their beds. But we still have far more work to do.
maryburkeThat’s why so many Wisconsinites are concerned by Mary Burke’s recent statement in a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel interview about her position on legislation that would protect unborn babies who are capable of feeling pain.
When asked what she would do with legislation that would “ban abortions after 20 weeks” (when unborn babies can feel pain), Burke responded, without a moment of hesitation,
“Yeah, I would veto it.”
Wisconsin women and unborn babies deserve better than a complete dismissal of any protection for pain-capable unborn children.
Wisconsinites should call Mary Burke immediately and urge her to support such important, lifesaving legislation. Lives depend on it.

Mary Burke is the Rat candidate running against Governor Scott Walker in Wisconsin. But, like you, I hate these poorly written articles that assum everyone already knows the basic facts, when such is obviously not the case.

You all will have to forgive me. I don’t live in Wisconsin, so don’t know either Walker or Burke. I’m just the messenger supplying the prolife information in order to keep FReepers informed on what’s going on with certain candidates.

The Government doesn’t care who feels pain. Be it an innocent baby or a helpless elderly person. They are there for political statements and political sacrifices.
Just watched the debate. Burke declares she’s pro-business then goes on rants about corporations and big business. She gets in and the state is back in debt.

Burke is an empty skirt. Her work history makes Obama’s pre-presidental work history look good.
She has done nothing for most of her life. However, she is an excellent snow boarder. - her only real qualification fo something. But certainly not governaor of any state or any office which requires decision making.
If the abortion bill were somehow to pass the WI Senate and House, it would have to be within the first two years of her term, as she will likely resign after two years - that is as long as she has ‘worked’ at anything in her life.
Most of ‘her’ stuff which she takes credit for was plagiarized from other Dem canadates elsewhere - and none of that cites any specifics - just generalities.
People will vote for her for three reasons: she’s not Walker, she’s a woman, she will try to repeal Act 10, restoring huge tax burdens on tax payers to pay for exorbitant teacher perks again.
You take her, we do not want her.
