A woman who caused an Ebola scare Friday and caused police to shut down a Pentagon entrance and a portion of the parking lot later confessed to hospital officials she had fabricated a story about recently traveling to West Africa, multiple government sources told Fox News.

There are some crazy people out there and we will see more cases of people faking Ebola to get media or least medical attention.
Have there been any other news outlets other than Fox that have reported that this woman provided false information?

If a person claims to have ebola, they might get sent to the clinical studies unit in MD to receive state of the art treatment-be a guinea pig IOW

It was talking to an ER Doc about that very thing and he has little concern about Ebola, but can imagine thousands of people at the ER, a few with the actual flu, none with Ebola and the only thing being accomplished is that more people will catch the flu.
Not so fast. She is under federal questioning.

Well there is another thread here on FR on this topic, with a comment from someone who left the Pentagon in the afternoon.
From his report, it sounds as if some in the Pentagon were still taking this seriously at around 3pm today.
Or is she lying now to keep from being locked up for 3 weeks in ‘quarantine’.
A federal prosecutor needs to seek a judge’s order to quarantine this woman for 28 days in an isolation unit.
Make it very public so that people will see what happens if you fake Ebola.
I hope I certainly don’t ever get brought in to federal authorities. The public would cut you down to size in a heartbeat. Just wait and see what develops. She maybe forced into saying that she made it up to prevent total panic. Think about it. I am giving more time for the facts to come out on this one.

It would be easy to determine if she were in Africa.
Keep me posted of how this story goes because I maybe off
line for work business / missing any updates.
