You can't even fill the bunkers with concrete because the stuff will get out. Just a guess.

With all the robots we have I'm not accepting that idea. No solution is prefect, but taking one's best shot usually beats doing nothing. It wouldn't be that hard to make an RC drum-bot or one capable of handling shells. With all the money we were spending, I just don't see leaving it there.

No, access isn’t the issue. Cleaning the stuff is. Incinerating our own chemical weapons and precursors took over a decade and we still had a little accident at Dugway with a herd of sheep (apparently the afterburners in the chimneys weren’t hot enough IIRC). And all of that stuff was stored properly in barrels. This would be some ungodly brew on the floor. Maybe it’d be possible but it wouldn’t be cheap. Or safe.
