This December 13, 1988 article does not specifically address the Reagan issue but it is still germane vis-a-vis Saddam's chemical weapons from agriculture chemicals.

"Phillips shipped 500 metric tons of TDG to Iraq in 1983. But the company refused a second, equally massive order a year later - after reports of Iraq's use of mustard gas began to surface in the West. Phillips officials repeatedly stress that they had no idea the chemical would be used for warfare, and still have no proof that it was. 'We were just making chemicals for agriculture; it was a normal business,' says Jos Dessers, a spokesman for Phillips in Tessenderlo."

MSM employees will be screaming "Reagan permitted Saddam to build WMD!"

In fact they have all along. Rumsfeld personally delivered the goods some lefty nut cases claim.

My point: Just be prepared for the screaming.

More on WMD.. I recall that the Department of Agriculture gave (provided) chemicals to various countries around the world. Saddam apparently used them for chemical weapons.

My only answer is: agreement that Bush would keep his mouth shut during 0bola’s reign, and, then, 0bola would make sure after 0bola, that Clinton would not get elected, but rather Jeb would. I’d bet on an agreement like that.
