Any idiot usually can do it. And usually does! Just use one of those. Plenty of those to be had and twitter seems to be their natural habitat anyway so win/win ;)

I am not just any idiot:), although I have been called worse.

Tweeting seems to be sound bites, as in no substance.
Yes I could learn tweet I suppose but I would rather have discourse.
An exchange of ideas, a pro or con argument.
It is why I like FR.
Opposing view points, I may not agree, but at least I can see view points.

The other aspect of FR that intriques me, frankly is the wealth of information.
We spoke earlier of the web knowledge, how about FR knowledge.

Where else can one go on the web, and get the wealth of information that I see everyday.

I see technology people explaining pros and cons of operating systems.

I get to read about ancient civilizations.

I see how astronmers view the galaxy, they also let me know when a celestial event will take place.

I can see volcanologists discuss the latest volcanic activity.

I get to read about societal issues.

Free exchange ideas, where in history has this ever been possible.

Tweeting is todays fad.

Any idiot can tweet, but can any idiot be swayed by reasoned discourse.

The exchange of ideas, that is freedom.

sorry for the long post, but what started as a funny post. set off I stream of free thinking.

I am thinking that Jim Robinson should be thanked for providing a forum for all of the above.

Norm thank you also for triggering my mind for the above.
It is rare that I have time or inclination to look at whole picture, this is one of those times, again thanks to Norm, also thanks to Jim Robinson for the forum.
