Here is something you dont see every day, a satellite image showing a sizable amount of snow cover on the big island of HawaiiI hate global warming. It causes so much cooling.

If you ever get to the Big Island of Hawaii, definitely take the Saddle Road across the middle of the island. That is an experience. You go from 80 degree temps to the mid 40s and then on the other side, back to the 80s. In between you get quite a change of landscape.
Some rental cars still prohibit you using that road but they've really improved it in recent years. Used to be a very dangerous road but not so bad now.
