Cocaine doesn’t hang around in the system too long. To get popped for it you have to be either very unlucky or use it often.

Weed sticks around for a long time and is what gets most people busted.

This is beyond even Biden-stupid. I served on an `admin sep’ board for years as a reservist.

Anyone who popped hot for cocaine didn’t have the self control to not use a few days before drill. Pot is fat soluble & remains detectable for up to 30 days after use.

Administrative separation of an officer for illegal drug use usually results in general discharge, other than honorable conditions, but often gets appealed to honorable (VA bennies unaffected).

If I had command authority, it would be a field grade Article 15 for an officer using illegal s***.

Again, how stupid of someone to gain a commission at an advanced age, & then blow it at his very first drill assembly. Urinalysis has been a regular weekend event for reservists at least since Desert Storm.

I p**ed in the bottle almost every month of my final year in the reserves. Luck of the random selection process. Big deal.
