I have nothing but the deepest respect for them. But the chances are better than even that they will die.
Those are the cold facts. It is possible to pray for their recovery, and yet prepare for the potential outcomes.
People are scared. It is not going to take much to get a lot of scared people to believe some stupid conspiracies.
If you don’t think there are people sitting in rooms somewhere right now “war gaming” that scenario you are naive. I used to get paid to anticipate bad outcomes and plan to mitigate them. Something the people in Dallas have clearly not done.
There may be people making pans to politicize the Ebola outbreak. Actually, it is obvious that there such people, but FreeRepublic is not the place to make plans for a counter attack or mitigation. Believe me, I know. They will try to destroy you.
