A very close friend of mine recently cancelled a trip to Dallas because of the Ebola outbreak and she’s saying she’ll skip travel until this thing is done.
That could be a very long time. Previous outbreaks would burn themselves out in 4-6 months, given some reasonable adult leadership, and common sense containment. This one is different in several ways.

The worst difference is that we don't currently have any such adult leadership, and insanity rules the day.

My wife and a number of we coworkers are supposed to fly to Dallas next week for a Tony Robbins event and they are freaking out. It is still a little early to panic.
I am flying to San Jose tomorrow and I have a it of doubt if I should be traveling.
