The CDC director, which I have been hearing the last few days from has been saying the only way to stop the spread of Ebola and from coming into the uS is to eradicate it in AFrica. That is one reason for him not supporting a travel ban, because he wants more people going their to help stop its spread. SO Obama is probably being told to send more people in such as these National Guard Troops.
I have two nephews in the Louisiana National Guard, could this include them?

You heard the man. He is sending US servicemen over there to get exposed to Ebola in the supposed name of “containing” the disease. He could have sent building supplies and tools, but instead he’s sending soldier boys and girls who could carry the disease back home. He could have just sent doctors, nurses and other health care people, who can actually do something about the disease, but he’s also sending GIs who can do little more than anyone already there is able to, except carry the disease home.
