The nurse reported a temp less than fever grade, therefore it was NOT officially an Øbola symptom, and Freidan is telling at least a half-truth. In fact, someone with known exposure reporting ANY fever should be considered pre-symptomatic if not full symptomatic and should have triggered an - to use the _Resident's term - AGGRESSIVE response.
Remember, Freiden is a politician first and a doctor a distant second.
....Or maybe the nurse was in CYA mode and the story of her calling was false? We know Friedan and co. have not been wholly competent or truthful but that doesn’t rule out the fact that other people, with agendas of their own, can also lie. Of course, I struggle to beleive any nurse wouldn’t be freaked out and call for help at the slightest sympton...
