Hold Your Nose to Vote But For Goodness Sake, Don't Stay Home
Jewish World Review ^ | 10-16-14 | Alicia Colon

As the days trickle down to a precious few before Election Day, I have become increasingly depressed by the comments I've read on several conservative forums. There are way too many conservatives expressing dissatisfaction with the GOP candidates running next month and in the possible lineup in 2016. They say before they vote for a RINO, they'd rather stay home.

There was a time when I would have admired their principled position but not this year. It is vitally important that the Republicans take over the Senate because the sad fact is that President Obama would never have been able to wreak havoc on this country without the hundreds of Democrat minions in Congress. In the two years plus left on his administration, he can continue to issue executive orders, appoint Marxist justices to circumvent the Constitution, diminish the military and continue to enjoy million-dollar taxpayer funded golfing vacations.

My brother Joe, who has terminal cancer, is visiting us for what may be the last time but what is most paramount on his mind is the terrible state of the nation. I have been trying to calm Joe down because the right frame of mind is necessary for him to fight his dreadful prognosis. Unfortunately, he is a former marine who has served his country well and he views the decline of America as a slap in the face and a mockery of the many years he spent doing his duty.

Joe says, "Obama hates the military and he hates the veterans and that goes for all the Democrats who carry out his orders..."

Which is why activist conservatives have an opening, which will definitely be smaller with lib-dem majority. This is the result of our “democracy” as are the opportunist RINOs who need to be pursued and ousted. Period. Empowerment over all the elitists.

From a fellow Whig— you don’t vote plan to float elsewhere. Every movement has humble starts- and ours is a tidal wave.

The Bush years prove you are wrong.

If you think of this as fighting a war, then you need generals who know the enemy, and to the GOPe, the enemy is conservatives. Consequently, they have purged their army, it is smaller and it will lose. Those generals will be repudiated and new generals will take their place.

That is how it works.

RINOs currently control the house.
What have they done to oppose Obama?
What will change by voting in MORE of them?

Yes a 1 for the other side. Percentages are not numbers. Always been the case.

Nothing quite like self-righteousness of self-sacred single voter- bordering on narcissism- not unlike our obamaumao.

Chickenpoop McConnell: "All power to the CDC!"

In an interview with Kasie Hunt, Sen. Mitch McConnell commented on the Ebola situation, saying it’s up to the CDC to determine what techniques, financing they need to control the disease and “we ought to listen” to them.

He's in a walking coma and cares not a whit about the situation. The President's abject mismanagement in of no concern to him.

So you are saying that 0 = 1.
Prove it.
A non vote is still a non vote.
It does not equal a positive for either.
Further, I do not OWE my vote to anyone, and nobody has the right to demand it of me.
And if they do not earn it, or worse still they proudly state they will crush and destroy me, then too bad take your hat elsewhere!
Get the votes from the dems and the illegals then!

Don't Republicans control the House? Not really. Obama does. What was it Boehner said about the Conservatives elected when the "R's" took over? Hmmm.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) assailed conservative groups Thursday for opposing the latest budget deal, saying they had crossed a line and lost their credibility. 12/12/2013

I’d have to know who Joe voted for in the primaries before I take Joe’s side...

In a changed environment, the RINO is left standing in an open field of fire. Do you GET this.

LOLOLOL!!!!

You and others are correct no one has the right to demand your vote. But how has it worked for those who sat out or voted third party? GOP still isn't running many true conservatives and the last couple of elections got us Obama because so many didn't vote...so it hasn't made them see your side.
While I may not prefer the dirty old life jacket if my boat is sinking, it may keep me afloat until the life raft can be reached.
I detest those liberal Republicans but nearly as much as I fear Obama and his cronies becoming our lifetime despot and supreme leader.

I liked that line as well.
IN a changed environment, the RINO reaches across the aisle, bends over, and performs Goatse politics.
They side with the dems, always.

Yes a 1 for the other side. Percentages are not numbers. Always been the case.

You, sir, are an idiot — percent is most definitely a number, just like ratios:

per·cent
adverb: per cent; adverb: percent
    1. by a specified amount in or for every hundred.
"new car sales may be down nineteen percent"

noun: per cent; noun: percent
    1. one part in every hundred.
It literally means out of a hundred — per (out of) cent (CENTurion, commander of a hundred men; CENTury, a hundred years; etc).

Then let the RINOs know they cannot stab you in the back and demand your vote.
It is quite simple.
Abusive spouses eventually either kill their victims, or the victim makes a break for it.
The RINOs are abusive spouses.
Your call.

I wasted my vote on McCain and Romney. How'd that work out?!

GOP still isn't running many true conservatives and the last couple of elections got us Obama because so many didn't vote

Bull sh!t! Both McCain and Romney said they knew of vote fraud and decided to take a pass.

How's supporting Rino's working out for ya? Supporting GOPe means we lose.

Doesn’t matter, vote for the liberal republican or else the liberal dems will win.
There’s only 1% urine in the champagne, drink up the RINOs told you to, peasant!
/ sarc.

You can point out that 0 does not equal 1, and there will be those who still insist that you can prove 0 equals 1.

We’ve been doing it the Rino’s way. The only ones winning is them.

Yeah.
As has been noted, notice it is only the RINO faction ‘reaching across the aisle’ on any given subject.
Further note that it is only Conservatives who are being told to hold their noses and vote for liberals.
