My PCP does not make hospital calls, hard enough to find one being Medicare and Tricare Life. So I got assigned this ME with a horrid accent in the hospital last Oct. He didn’t want to touch me, or speak to me, he’d only speak to my husband, and would not listen when I said I was having a reaction to the medicine he was giving me for Colitis Ileus. It is a serious life threatening Gastro disease that makes you think you are having a heart attack when you get a flare. You have trouble digesting food. Many end up of feeding tubes.
Guess I’ll be doing the same. I have to go to the records department of our hospital and make them FIX the drug allergies, STUPID, LAZY admit person only stuck 4 out of 20 on my list, first drug they bring up is one I’m allergic to, and NO ONE CANCELLED it. Then I have to have a discussion with Dietary I am only allowed 2,000 mg sodium per day as I have Meniere’s. And to much salt sends me into a flare. I swear medical personnel are DUMB and LAZY especially if you have to use a Memphis, TN hospital.
