Thank you so much, Windflier. May God bless you and keep you safe so we can get together at next year’s Shoot.

I am truly eager to meet you and Mrs. Windflier. I hope you bring all your kids next time, as well.

I sound like Kathleen Turner. LOL

I cannot take any credit for this excellent event. NYTexan did all the work ~ I wasn’t much help this weekend either due to being on the injured reserve list.

KP duty with a fine bunch of tater peelers. A wonderful memory. The time passed too quickly.

Home safe and sound after a long drive through the vast nothingness of Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas

But I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful week, IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!

You all were so hospitable! I don't know what to say :)

You know, when you get old enough to think getting together to peel potatoes is fun, perhaps you’ve moved into my age group.

Let me guess. You are twenty two?

Thanks for coming ~ it’s always nice to see you and your family.

Hopefully getting up early doesn’t mess up Shelia and Chris’ schedule. ;-)

Stay safe.

I was very impressed by those two young men you brought with you ~ I glad they had a great time.

Well eighteen years of dedicated parenting does have its rewards. It's sometimes hard for Jen and I to see it, but when folks make comments like that, it kinda forces us to see the kids from an outside perspective. When we do, we have to admit that we ain't done too bad. Not bad at all.

Thank you so much for the compliment :-)

Thank you all for the great fun and food.

I also want to Thank Everyone for the Great Fun and Food. We too (Better Half and I) arrived safely home. Prayers Everyone will arrive home safely. Wow, What A Party!!! Reminds me of my older Days at the Nursing Health Care Center earlier in life and hanging out with the Young People. Everyone was so nice. Fine looking group of Young People. Makes for Great Times to hang out with a Younger Crowd.

Our two eldest kids got an earful about how much fun their younger siblings had this weekend. I'm pretty sure they won't need much convincing to attend next year.

Can't wait to finally meet you, as well. You heal up and get on down the the next Shoot, ok?

Well I'm sure both of y'all worked hard planning this all year, so I tip my hat to NYTexan too. It was a great success!

[I’m sure I have forgotten to ping someone]

I just want to add my thanks and appreciation to all of those that worked so hard to make this wonderful event happen. I was thrilled to meet the ones I’d never met face-to-face before and hope we will see y’all again next year.

For the ones who couldn’t make it, we missed y’all so darn much!!...and hope you will be able to be there next year...for the 10th year anniversary! Wow!

Each year I always say “this was the best shoot ever” and this one was no exception. Truth is, they are all the BEST shoot ever and I know that TexasCowboy watches us and smiles because he’s the one that started the whole thing! I never met him personally, but I feel that I have through your memories and your love for him.

Thanks Mom and Eaker and Gunner and Buckeye and Pen and NYT and Charlie and Bacon Man, all of the others who worked so hard to feed us so well. Thanks for the diet I’ll have to start tomorrow. LOL! MY, thanks for making sure that the range on the Trinity was available and for trying to herd this bunch of cats. ;)

Y’all are simply the best...each and every one of you!!
