She wasn’t even on the same flight and they are closing the whole school? Are they serious? Are the janitors going to wear Haz-Mat suits to clean the school?
People no longer believe what the feds say, with good reason. There were a lot of mistakes in Dallas. An unintended consequence is that local governments are going somewhat overboard demonstrating how prepared and concerned they are.
And still people enter the US from the infected western African countries.
Same aircraft, the virus survives dry on surfaces for days. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me to keep the teacher home for 21 days.
Also perfectly reasonable to shut down travel from infected countries like Liberia. At least common sense exists in flyover country.
