The Giants have little association with the idiots that define San Francisco politics these days. Owner paid and built stadium because the city, unlike nearly all in the US, refused to pay for any part of it. AT&T Park (I much preferred the original PacBell name) is much like the Vatican residing in Italy.

Naming a ball field after a telecommunications corp is about as befitting as naming a battleship after........never-mind.

Correcto mundo, CatOwner. If you are going to be a fan of
college or pro major sports teams you have to learn to
compartmentalize things these days. The vast majority
of cities and universities are run by yo-yos who have
nothing in common with sane people. Personally, as
a native NorCalifornian I refuse to allow a bunch
of dopey libtards to dictate my team preference.
My choice.

Exactly! PacBell Park ( :) ) is the only island of sanity in that forsaken city.It’s a waterside entity of its own. And the Giants LOVE our military. Good people.
