If things keep going as they have been Giants vs. Royals would be a very good matchup. When is the last time either of these teams won by a blowout? Of course that probably means there will be a bunch of 10-2 games if they face each other.

Two incredible — regarded as virtually impossible — feats by the teams. For the Royals, the first team ever to make it to the Series without a loss. For the Giants, the first team to ever win a seven game series with only three wins.

Both the Giants and Cardinals beat my Texas Rangers in the World Series back to back a few years ago. The Rangers had the game 6 Series winner against the Cardinals all but won but blew 2 chances with a lead late in the game and in extra innings. Bummer.

My heart wants the Cards to pull off a NLCS miracle, than another one in the WS. But without a healthy Molina the Royals would trounce them. Let the Royals run on Posey instead. Obama’s Ferguson agitators will look all the sillier trying their schtick in KC. And given the choice of Pelosi’s team or Limbaugh’s old team winning the WS my pick comes easy.

I’m not so sure it would take a miracle, JohnBovenmyer. The Cards have pulled off what seemed to be the impossible before. We’ll see.

Royals fans can be excused for not knowing how many games it takes to win an LCS, having not reached one since before global warming was invented.
