Now there is a bit of drama. Either she is telling a fib to cover her incredibly stupid mistake...or...she traveled even though told not to...or...she was never told.

Exactly...I wonder if we will ever know. It could be that all she was told was that she was low-risk and to take her own temperature every X number of hours and that was it.
