Libsrjerks, FNP here, joining the other nurses here in the view that this RN certainly should have had the sense not to get on the plane, irregardless of whatever advice the CDC had to give ..... She had direct exposure to an ebola infected patient, her own colleague was ill .... I mean, come ON.

Our problem is we rely too much on the go-ahead for these ridiculous government institutions and don’t use common sense! She wanted to go see relatives and she didn’t give a hoot ..... That’s what happened. She’s a selfish idiot who has now put hundreds at risk. NO sympathy from me.

Agreed. My wife is a medical doctor trained in UK and she is SHOCKED at what they must be (not) teaching in med schools here.

Diagnosis is simple, been around Obola, got fever, get on plane? HELL NO.

Selfish is right but about 99% accurate with the US public at large. GimmeDat MeMeMe, the Obama legacy.
