Arkansas' highest court on Wednesday struck down a state law that requires voters to show photo identification before casting a ballot, ruling the requirement unconstitutional just days before early voting begins for the Nov. 4 election.
In a decision that could have major implications in the state's election, the state Supreme Court upheld a lower court ruling that determined the law unconstitutionally added a requirement for voting.
The high court noted that the Arkansas Constitution lists specific requirements to vote: that a person be a citizen of both the U.S. and Arkansas, be at least 18 years old, and be lawfully registered. Anything beyond that amounts to a new requirement and is therefore unconstitutional, the court ruled.

This is a mind numbingly stupid opinion. Such circular reasoning: they can’t pass such a law because such a law would be passed.

Impeach and remove the black-robed fascists. I don’t understand why legislatures are afraid to remove judges who are abusing the system. It’s not like judges have a constituency ready to march on the streets and riot.
Impeach, imprison or immolate.
Because then the democrats can’t find those extra votes in the church basement or in that innocent poll worker’s car that they forgot about and rediscovered just in time to help with those recounts in a close election.
Remember in 2000 it wasn’t about recounting the votes for the whole state of Florida but just in the 3 most heavily leaning democratic counties to decide how the whole state was going to go. When I tell that to my “Bush stole the election buddies” they want to move on to “well Bush .....”.

And how does anyone know those requirements have been fulfilled withoug ID?
If the requirement is to be a citizen how are they to prove it? Pretty simple to me.
The court said you must be a citizen, but reasonable proof of being legally able to vote is what the court deemed the unconstitutional requirement. By that logic: paying taxes is required by law, but proving that you did pay taxes with forms and all is unconstitutional. How many people would cheat under that tax scenario, about the same as will cheat under the voter id one.
This is going the way of the Texas case in the 5th Circuit. The 8th Circuit is going to rule in favor of the Supreme Courts deference to last minute changes of rule before an election. It’s not nice to change the rules just before and election. But, of course, the scum Democrats try to do it every time.

Okay going by the logic of not having ID for voting. Then of course we should not need ID for anything else, opening a bank account, cashing checks, etc., etc.. It is against Federal Law that Social Security Numbers be used for any kind of ID yet it goes on daily.
So we should not have to produce ID for anything since if voting is deemed no ID be produced then why anything else??
