At first I thought you were being a bit harsh there, but then I got to thinking - if you sold the idea skillfully, it could seriously improve the gene pool.

Maybe start by providing them with information on how their ongoing existence adds immeasurably to the global carbon footprint over the course of their lifetimes. For a closer, you could convince them that they were contributing to the end of the world by drawing breath, and that they should do it for the kids they would never have, or have aborted.
