I just saw on the news that 1) the CDC has barred everyone who’d cared for Duncan from flying. This nurse flew in violation of that ban. 2) Contrary to earlier reports, she was symptomatic when she boarded the plane.

Did it say when they barred them? I thought she was probably believing the hype that there was no chance she could get it, so blithely flew home and back. I feel so sorry for her.

Then she should be charged with attempted murder. Enough with this voluntary quarantine stuff.

Are you sure the ban was in effect? Cleveland news is going nuts covering this, and they don't have a straight answer. The CDC has said she should not have been on a plane, but they didn't say if a ban was in effect at that time.

She also called the CDC several times asking if it was safe, telling them she had a fever of 99.5.

They told her it was okay.
