DALLAS - Officials say the year-old King Charles Spaniel belonging to the Dallas nurse hospitalized with Ebola has been given comfortable bedding, toys and other items to entertain him while he stays at a decommissioned naval air base.
City spokeswoman Sana Syed said Tuesday that Bentley is staying in the former residence of the executive officer at the decommissioned Hensley Field, which is owned by the city. Bentley was moved Monday from nurse Nina Pham's apartment to his new home, where he'll be monitored.

Good for Bently...The nurse is having a hard enough time without her dog being killed. That mya help her recover, keep her positive.

My question: What do they mean by “monitoring”? Does anybody play with Bently? Snuggle Bently? Dogs need more than food, water, and walks.

Dogs don’t get sick with Ebola but they can carry the virus. If it tests positive for the virus it will be put down.

That’s not good enough for the animal worshipers’ little deity. Maybe they’ll demand that it be housed in the officers’ club, where it can get more attention.
And how much will all that ‘monitoring’ cost, and who will pay the bill?
I am not a dog-hater at all, but I place much less value on the dog’s life than that of its owner.

My heart aches for that poor girl and her puppy. If ebolaman’s family breathes one more word about the “fairness” of his treatment, they need their noses to be rubbed in giant mess their relative created. Oh he’ll...lets just sharpen some pitchforks just in case. Not one damn word of concern for any other person affected.
